Recently we put together a fall and winter palette for a rain forest dinner experience in our very own backyard - actually, just off our front-facing driveway. Even the driveways in Roberts Creek are beautiful.

We used our usual neutral canvas drop sheet for a tablecloth - which helps give a neutral base for clients to build on. The table glass all came from local sources, except that ikea tea light holder and two of the tall candle holders, also Ikea.

We introduced succulents to florals not because they are local, but because we find them extremely hardy and something we can literally plant on the table for a day before moving it back home. Our succulents go to a lot of parties ;) Bottomline, it’s sustainable because these are not one time florals, they last for years. To compliment them we added some spicy sprouts grown in our kitchen and a sprig of rosemary for the napkin from … our driveway. Rosemary grows exceptionally well pretty much anywhere on the Sunshine Coast.
